A Quilting Family

Quilting has been part of the fabric of our family for over 30 years.

Steve is the lead technician for The Quilter’s Mechanic. His strong mechanical and computer expertise make him a unique resource for quilters and sewists alike. As a writer, former pastor, and software developer, he understands the creative process and the frustrations that equipment can cause. He has completed sewing machine maintenance and repair classes at the Sewing Doc Academy.

Sue is The Quilter’s Mechanic #1 customer and the inspiration for the business. As an avid quilter, she brings attention to detail and exacting standards to everything we do. She also handles the bookkeeping for the business.
